Aug 30, 2010 - Mexico City, Mexico - EDGAR VALDEZ VILLAREAL, aka 'La Barbie' heir of the cartel of the Beltran Leyva, was stopped by elements of the Federal Police in the state of Mexico. Born August 11, 1973 Villareal is a Mexican-American drug trafficker who worked a few years for the Beltran-Leyva Cartel as a lieutenant. Since early 2010 he separated from the Beltr‡n-Leyva brothers created his own cartel. Valdez is also the primary operator of the executioner gang called Los Negros.
