Jul 18, 2009 - Redondo Beach, California, USA - A teenager takes a hit off of a NOS balloon. During a teen party on a Saturday night, along with the usual handles of cheap alcohol and beer, men sell nitrous oxide filled balloons, known as NOS - a brand of street racing NO2 system for cars. Partygoers inhale the balloons full of nitrous oxide in order to get a short high. The common uses of NO2 are in surgery, dentistry for anesthetic and analgesic effects and for recreational usage as inhalants.
