28-07-2010- London- The moment I watched my father plunge 150ft to his death: Daughter relives horror tandem parasail that ended in disaster..A father fell 150ft to his death as he and his daughter shared a tandem parasailing joyride on holiday in Turkey. .Glenn Hudson, 50, plunged on to a beach in front of hundreds of holidaymakers, after his parachute harness snapped as the pair were towed airborne behind a boat. .His daughter Emma, 25, attached to the same parachute, could only look on in horror as her father disappeared..The rest of his family were unaware of the tragedy until a disatraught Miss Hudson was brought back to the beach and ran over shouting: 'Dad's fallen.' .'We were up there for about ten minutes and suddenly he dropped. I was right next to him, we'd been chatting happily and then he was gone,' said Miss Hudson, a sales manager from Wivenhoe, near Colchester in Essex..'I was screaming but it didn't seem like I was screaming. It was all unreal. It took a few minutes before I realised what was going on. It didn't seem to take long for him to hit the beach. .'Then it seemed to take forever to get me down. Dad was lying on the beach below and I was still dangling above.'.The family's Turkish lawyer has examined the harness and said it should never have been used because it was sun damaged and unsafe. .Mr Hudson's wife Linda, 51, had taken photos of her husband and daughter minutes earlier on Saturday afternoon but did not see the accident as she relaxed under a parasol. .Miss Hudson added: 'Eventually they got a jetski to take me back to the beach. Mum was on the beach and had no idea anything had happened. .'I was screaming that Dad had fallen and she didn't understand what I was saying.
