The 2008 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Clean Diesel is powered by a 2.0L four cylinder TDI engine. This new engine meets strict Tier 2 Bin 5 standards, thanks in part to a nitrous oxide storage catalyst that reduces NOx emissions by up to 90%. A particulate filter further reduces emissions, allowing the Clean Diesel to be held to the same standards as gasoline models.
